Not only is it small and light, but it can handle just about anything u throw at the this tough laptop. I would recomend buying a refurbished toughbook when first looking into the cf 19 toughbook for your work, due to the fact that the keyboard is semi-difficult to type on. Luckily the cf 19 is a touchscreen, so you can use the fully functional on-screen touch keyboard if you do not like the built in one. Another thing that is nice about this built in touchscreen toughbook feature is that when the touchpad mouse is hard to use to due, mud or other outdor conditions, using the the touchscreen toughbook makes everything better! Also alot of tough laptops i have come across may have a tough exterior but when opened up the screen can’t handle much. Well, with the the cf 19 toughbook that is a whole different story! I have seen it dropped, jumped on, and more only to find the screen without a scratch! I dont know about you but when using touchscreen devices it always seems that I crack the screen before i mess up anything else, so with this unbelievable feature it makes cracking or ruining the screen in anyway from tapping or poking virtually impossable! Being a panasonic toughbook, every port is covered by some form of protection against water or dust!

Also another cool feature with the cf 19 toughbook is that the battery and hard drive are removable! Allowing you to have multiples for different types of jobs, which can come in handy if you specialize in more then one trade.
It also has a a couple USB port and a headphone and microphone plugin area. One thing that makes this truley unique is it has built in WiFi allowing you to connect to your workplace practicly anywhere in the world from WiFi hot spots!As far CPU goes it has a dual core CPU albeit. When talking about the cf 19 toughbook this really isn’t a bad CPU for it, considering this machine is more for the durabilty then high CPU compatibility. With that said, the Core Duo chip is still great CPU! Running at 1.06GHz this can compete with most laptops, which is awesome condering how small it is! It comes stock with 512MB of system memory. Having a 80Gb harddrive is adequate to most users of the cf 18 toughbook, considering this is a work laptop rather then a home one, meaning large ammounts of music will most likely not be stored on it, but if you want a larger hard drive the option is available to upgrade hard drive sizes. One thing that the cf 19 toughbook really knocks out other competitors is the battery life on this tough laptop, with an amazing battery lasting over 7 hours! Thats almost a full work shift! No more need to worry about bringing an extra battery or charger in the work vehicles with this outstanding battery!Weighing in at just about 5 pounds this tough laptop is alot lighter and smaller then its predecessor the cf 18 toughbook. With the dimentions of 10 inches X 8 inches x 2 inches. I would strongly recomend this toughbook touchscreen, tough laptop to anyone who works on the go, or in an outdoor enviroment.
